Spreading Neighborly Kindness with Seed Bombs

We had so much fun making seed bombs with many of you earlier this week. Folks from twelve neighborhoods across the United States gathered on Zoom to assemble seed bomb packages to share with their neighbors. In a few short weeks, herbs and wildflowers will begin to grow in each of these neighborhoods, bringing beauty for everyone to enjoy.

Several workshop participants imagined the many possibilities for connecting with their neighbors; they even asked for more seed bomb kits! After gaining new skills from our workshop, Jill Johnson from Royal Oak, Michigan, plans to teach a seed bomb class at an annual retreat she coordinates for senior citizens. Just think of how many neighborhoods will have cheery blooms as a result!

Our team designed Love Your Neighborhood Workshops to help you spread neighborly love and kindness right where you live—and you did not disappoint. We love hearing how people in our network are using our tools to build more hopeful neighborhoods. Where do you see hope growing in your community?
