Founders
"Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality."
- Warren Bennis
Founders are people who gather their neighbors together to seek the common good of their neighborhood. If you want to make a positive difference in your neighborhood and can imagine standing up, taking the initiative, and calling some neighbors together … then consider what it would look like to be a founder within the Hopeful Neighborhood Network.

“Founders are like their neighbors in most ways: they live in the neighborhood; they have regular jobs; they don’t have formal training in community development or organizing. What makes a founder stand out is simply their willingness to take the initiative.”
– The Hopeful Neighborhood Field Guide
